Raglan Gun The Toast Of Murphy's Kennels

Since returning to the care of Matt and Naomi Murphy, Raglan Gun has now achieved a local double by making both the Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Finals and Lsdbrokes Bathurst Gold Cup Finals in the space of two months. The son of Spring Gun X Pink Rockstar produced a stunning come from behind victory in a heat of the Bathurst Gold Cup last Monday.

Now prepared by Bathurst trainer Jeff Mooney, Raglan Gun will be looking to create history to become the only greyhound to feature in the placings of the Bathurst Tracks 2 feature events in the same year.

We wish all the connections the best of luck in the Final of the Bathurst Cup, which will be held Friday week the 15th of January.

Hole Shot Hero Shows Her True Class

Well not much more can be said about the daughter of Spring Gun X Pink Rockstar. Stretching her record to 6 wins and 6 minor placings from only 20 starts, with a sub 30 second win at Angle Park on the 17th September, and also a win over the 600m on the 1st October which was only her second start over the middle distance.

Bred, reared and pre-trained at Murphy's, she is certainly building a record that will see her almost certainly return home to be the star brood bitch for Murphy's Kennels. Not only showing pace to burn but also now showing staying qualities, she would be the ideal fit for any stud dog, therefore her progeny will be well sought after.

One Eyed Watto Brings Up Career Win #7

One Eyed Watto trained by one of South Australia's great trainers Ken Gill, brought up career win #7 in a dashing display at Gawler on the 4th October. The son of Cosmic Rumble X On Parole has just returned from a debilitating injury and showed great conditioning by staying out the 531m trip in an impressive 31.13.

Congratulations to Graeme O'Donell and the entire Watsargo Racing Syndicate, hopefully he stays sound for connections and produces such performances.

Clock Watching Stunning on Debut

Clock Watching (Fabregas X Limko Dryva) was electric in his first ever race start at Mandurah on 15th September. He showed explosive early sectionals to put the race to bed after 100m, and was never headed winning by 9 1/2 lengths in a moderate time of 23.27 for the 405m journey.

Congratulations to owners Frank Nicol, Darren Lambert, Craig Townsend and Deb Corby, certainly showing potential and hope he wins many more for connections.
